Model minority

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_minority

A model minority is a minority demographic (whether based on ethnicity, race or religion) whose members are perceived as achieving a higher degree of socioeconomic success than the population average, thus serving as a reference group to outgroups. This success is typically measured relatively by educational attainment; representation in managerial and professional occupations; and household income, along with other socioeconomic indicators such as low criminality and high family/marital stability.[1] The concept of model minority is primarily associated with the culture of the United States, though many European countries have concepts of classism that stereotype ethnic groups in a similar manner.[2][3]

Technology management vs leadership

Management :
U have a automation in place that creates a cluster in 5 mins. 50 nodes/containers or even 100. Uses à particular version of the software. Still deciding on which version of sw to use. So you hold off changing the automation code until the decision is made as u don't want to change the code.....

Leadership :
Same scenario. Create 2 branches 1 for each version. Test everything and be ready. Once decided deploy asap. If it's new version than great but if it's old version than at least you have already new version code ready.

Moving forward matters with automation...

Feifdom vs professional excellence

When protecting the feifdom become more important than delivering justice to your profession, integrity, honesty and ethics go out of the window.

Seeing a lot of these lately.... Surprised...but then rotten apples are there and once they get in.... They tend to spread the rot....
